To enhance the visitor experience at Historic Centreville Park, we developed a comprehensive interpretive signage system that includes informational panels, a park kiosk, and custom etchings designed to illuminate the site’s historical significance. This signage enables visitors to explore key landmarks such as the Spindle Sears House, Royal Oaks, and Civil War fortifications, while providing detailed historical context. The custom etched-glass illustrations are precisely positioned to correspond with the locations of former buildings, allowing visitors to view and visualize historic structures in their original settings. Through the integration of carefully curated information and immersive visual storytelling, our signage fosters a meaningful connection between the contemporary landscape and Centreville’s historical heritage.
